1°, BABY!
I heard it through the internet, that the artist behind one of my favorite web comics was a high school friend of a college friend of mine. Nice! Even better, diesel sweeties just became the first web comic to cross the digital divide and wind up in your newspaper! Look for it next January.
I haven’t felt this close to fame since I wowed my sisters when I told them I took gen chem with Steven the Vegan. Since I only associate with talented and capable people, I expect to hear many more things of this sort in the future. Now get back to work!

Do they claim that on the site? I somehow doubt that’s true. Why are we not counting get your war on, which now appears in alternative weekly papers? (Not that I’ve ever seen it in one, but surely David Rees isn’t lying.)

I heard it from the college friend (Chris Passig). Maybe he meant the first web comic that was picked up by Universal Press Syndicate. This means that it will run 7 days a week in mainstream newspapers. You know, the kind that you would see. =-P!
ps Please pardon the imprecision in my language.
